Oliveira Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Setúbal having to interfere. Nuno Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Humberto Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Sá in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match, Vítor Baptista got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eliseu Setúbal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Noel Caneira hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Vítor Baptista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Eliseu Setúbal made a huge save. Ademar Poças charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ademar Poças the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rebordello fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Eliseu Setúbal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vítor Baptista in the 39th minute. Vítor Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Eliseu Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliveira Martins was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. SC Cavalheiro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Micael Simões fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rebordello's protests and gave Micael Simões a yellow card for diving instead. Micael Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Eliseu Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliveira Martins in the 48th minute of play.

54 minutes into the match, SC Cavalheiro's goalkeeper Humberto Antunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Sá. Rebordello were furious when Elias Cerqueira was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 67 minutes into the game, Gaspar Telinhos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rebordello's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Cavalheiro the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rebordello's Gaspar Telinhos got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute of the match Jorge Coelho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseu Setúbal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseu Setúbal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The SC Cavalheiro fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when SC Cavalheiro's Oliveira Martins looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Vítor Baptista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseu Setúbal was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Oliveira Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Rebordello booed when SC Cavalheiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Vítor Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vítor Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes Rebordello got a freekick which was hit by Israel Malafaia. After 88 played minutes, SC Cavalheiro's Carlos Lima shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eliseu Setúbal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Cavalheiro reached it. Gaspar Telinhos kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Cavalheiro had played much better football throughout.
