Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rui Moutinho kicked off to start the match. Luso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sune Helander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Carvalhais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 13 minutes, José Assis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luso FC and the SC Matela players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Luso FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. José Assis hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Rui Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luso FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rui Moutinho 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. José Assis got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 27 played minutes Luso FC got a freekick which was hit by José Assis. Luso FC's Albertino Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Moutinho in the 36th minute of play. Carlos Santiago hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. SC Matela's Carlos Carvalhais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Helander in the 41st minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wallace William was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Wallace William made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Carvalhais. SC Matela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When Wallace William came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Luso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wallace William couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, SC Matela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ricardo Fonso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Wallace William took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Carvalhais. Carlos Carvalhais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Adolfo Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Luso FC's Wallace William sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Carvalhais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Fonso in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Carvalhais prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
