Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SC Gouvaes's Olívio Lameirinhas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adamantios Mellios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Paredes having to interfere. SC Gouvaes's Inácio Paredes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save SC Gouvaes from getting a goal against them. Adamantios Mellios's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Inácio Paredes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Inácio Paredes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gouvaes's zone, Gabin Brenot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inácio Paredes came out of the goal and Gabin Brenot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Luso FC's Lúcio Pacheco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Inácio Paredes. That made the score 3-0 after 24 minutes of play. 30 minutes into the match, SC Gouvaes's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Byström came free, but Inácio Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gouvaes's zone, Joaquim Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inácio Paredes came out of the goal and Joaquim Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the game, Nicolas Malheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Gouvaes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luso FC the free kick. The supporters of Luso FC booed when SC Gouvaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Malheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 played minutes, SC Gouvaes's Januário Festas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vítor Bahy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Gouvaes reached it. SC Gouvaes's Vítor Varanda got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, SC Gouvaes's goalkeeper Inácio Paredes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabin Brenot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adamantios Mellios in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inácio Paredes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adamantios Mellios was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Adamantios Mellios notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of SC Gouvaes's Inácio Paredes. Inácio Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th minute Adamantios Mellios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st play minute Vítor Varanda came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vítor Bahy. 5-1. Inácio Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adamantios Mellios, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adamantios Mellios during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Luso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adamantios Mellios to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Luso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olívio Lameirinhas came free, but Vítor Bahy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olívio Lameirinhas hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Adamantios Mellios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adamantios Mellios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rothem Rua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Paredes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adamantios Mellios's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. If Adamantios Mellios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Gabin Brenot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adamantios Mellios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Inácio Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Luso FC's Adamantios Mellios in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. It was beautiful to see Luso FC's Daniel Amorim in action when he in the 99th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!
