Fronteira's Luís Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saúl Leitão in the 7th minute of play. Jordão Bernardes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jordão Bernardes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Borba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th match minute, Bunheirense CP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Bettencourt to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Inácio Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fronteira's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordão Bernardes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diogo Borba in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jordão Bernardes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Fronteira booed when Bunheirense CP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Diogo Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inácio Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordão Bernardes having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Diogo Borba notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bunheirense CP's Jordão Bernardes. Jordão Bernardes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If António Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. Diogo Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordão Bernardes having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Inácio Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordão Bernardes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The Fronteira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 62 minutes into the match, António Pires notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Fronteira's Luís Lisboa. Fronteira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inácio Neto scored 1-5 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jordão Bernardes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inácio Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jordão Bernardes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
