Bulent Icab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Antunes got free with Abel Sá in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Condados FC's Artur Brás got a free kick in the 12th minute. Rui Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Abel Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Brás in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adelino Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bulent Icab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Sá having to interfere. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SMC FC. 32 minutes into the match, Rui Campos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abel Sá, 1-0. Hélder Moutinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Gonçalves having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Bulent Icab's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Sá was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Bulent Icab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Sá having to interfere. If Bulent Icab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hélder Moutinho made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Condados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bulent Icab in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Sá prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Bulent Icab put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Abel Sá. Filipe Teixeira's late challenge caught a SMC FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Condados FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Teixeira. Bulent Icab might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Sá. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bulent Icab ran back to his position shaking his head. Rui Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Sá having to interfere. Adelino Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Moutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Rui Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Abel Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 77 minutes on the clock, Rui Reis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of SMC FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Condados FC:s goal. Xavier Delgado shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Condados FC's Abel Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Campos in the 82nd minute of play. Condados FC's Filipe Teixeira got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Filipe Teixeira off the ground. 94 minutes into the match, Rui Campos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Sá. Condados FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Campos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. A collision led to Condados FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Hélder Moutinho hit a great ball. There was no doubt that SMC FC were the better team. SMC FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
