Avelino Valadão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Avelino Valadão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Pires's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. granD3.pT's Avelino Valadão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Porto in the 23rd minute of play. Avelino Valadão came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Rebentao's Alexandre Pires. But to his dismay, Alexandre Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, SC Rebentao's Gaspar Reis got a free kick in the 28th minute. Avelino Valadão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Porto in the 31st minute of play. David Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Bettencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to granD3.pT getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Julião Guarda hit a great ball. SC Rebentao's Filipe Ferro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for granD3.pT. If Daniel Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avelino Valadão having to interfere. After the first half SC Rebentao were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alexandre Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avelino Valadão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Pires in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Avelino Valadão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Daniel Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Rebentao's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Avelino Valadão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julião Guarda hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the match Filipe Ferro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Avelino Valadão skillfully saved the ball. Julião Guarda, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 84 minutes of play, SC Rebentao's Daniel Porto made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Avelino Valadão was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Alexandre Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Basílio Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored granD3.pT's protests and gave Basílio Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. Basílio Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in granD3.pT's zone, Daniel Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avelino Valadão came out of the goal and Daniel Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The SC Rebentao supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Rebentao would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
