The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Amaro having to interfere. A collision led to SC Fontinha getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Aparício Cesário hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Gomes in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Israel Amaro saved SC Fontinha from getting behind. In the 85th match minute, SC Fontinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Damásio to maneuver through the defense. In the 89thth minute of the game Jorge Gomes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Fontinha's Israel Amaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
