Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 10) When Domingos Brito fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copeira's protests and gave Domingos Brito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Copeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Brito to maneuver through the defense. Vítor Assis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severino lacerda. Copeira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 8th minute Hermano Rebelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Boaventura, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Marco Boaventura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Paulo Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Ferragudo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Brito came free, but Hélder Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldaír Granja charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldaír Granja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Copeira's Aldaír Granja got a free kick in the 21st minute. Paulo Maia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Ferragudo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Hélder Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Boaventura, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Vítor Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Gonçalo Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferragudo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino lacerda was a little too slow when Gonçalo Faro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Vítor Assis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Copeira's Severino lacerda. Severino lacerda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th match minute, Ferragudo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Faro to maneuver through the defense. Gonçalo Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Boaventura in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélder Pedroso saved Ferragudo FC from getting behind. In the 47th minute Hermano Rebelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Ferragudo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Faro to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a little luck, Ferragudo FC's Hélder Pedroso got control of the ball when Marco Boaventura tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Copeira booed when Ferragudo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino lacerda having to interfere. If Gonçalo Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Copeira's zone, Vítor Assis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino lacerda came out of the goal and Vítor Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonçalo Faro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Hélder Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Hélder Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Vides in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match, Domingos Brito tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hélder Pedroso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Paulo Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gonçalo Faro came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ferragudo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Faro couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Maia in the 76th minute of play forced Copeira's goalkeeper Severino lacerda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Vítor Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino lacerda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino lacerda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Maia in the 87th minute of play. Severino lacerda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Assis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Paulo Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferragudo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino lacerda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cláudio Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Vides in the 96th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ferragudo FC defense, Marco Boaventura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélder Pedroso. The Ferragudo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélder Pedroso should have stopped the shot.
