Gaspar Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Jacinto Lessa made a huge save. Jacinto Lessa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Gaspar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Gaspar Reis notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Feirao FC's Jacinto Lessa. Jacinto Lessa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Feirao FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gregório Toscano hit a great ball. Gaspar Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Reis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Jacinto Lessa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. David Gaspar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jacinto Lessa made a huge save. Internacional Lisboa's Vítor Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Matias in the 29th minute of play. Gaspar Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raul Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Lessa having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Adelino Ferro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaspar Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jacinto Lessa made a huge save. In the 47th match minute, Internacional Lisboa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Magalhães to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pascoal Saraiva was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Daniel Faria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jacinto Lessa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Feirao FC's Vítor Cunha threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pascoal Saraiva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregório Toscano got free with Vítor Cunha in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adelino Ferro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Feirao FC's zone, Gaspar Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Lessa came out of the goal and Gaspar Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Lessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Dias in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match, Pascoal Saraiva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vítor Cunha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Gaspar Reis came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Internacional Lisboa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Reis couldn't finish the play. Alcides Peralta was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 83 played minutes Feirao FC got a freekick which was hit by Alcides Peralta. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Reis in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Lessa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Fernando Dias came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Internacional Lisboa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Dias couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Reis in the 92nd minute of play forced Feirao FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Lessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Lessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Gaspar in the 92nd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Internacional Lisboa fully deserved thier win.
