The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. CCD Reguengo's Cristiano Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Olchawa in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, CCD Reguengo's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Azevedo came free, but Cristiano Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Albertino Guarda came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the CCD Reguengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albertino Guarda couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, PLANETA FM's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Lopes came free, but Gaspar Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertino Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gaspar Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gustavo Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the CCD Reguengo fans jumped to their feet. In the 14th minute Norbert Olchawa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, PLANETA FM's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Lopes came free, but Gaspar Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Norbert Olchawa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PLANETA FM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, CCD Reguengo's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Oliveira came free, but Cristiano Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Paredes in the 23rd minute of play forced CCD Reguengo's goalkeeper Cristiano Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Santarém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Lopes in the 24th minute of the match. Francisco Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bento Paredes went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. But to his dismay, Bento Paredes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 48th minute Norbert Olchawa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norbert Olchawa to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, CCD Reguengo's goalkeeper Cristiano Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bento Paredes. After 52 minutes, Luís Morais mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CCD Reguengo and the PLANETA FM players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CCD Reguengo's Luís Morais got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Cristiano Neves came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by PLANETA FM's Bento Paredes. But to his dismay, Bento Paredes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 62 minutes into the match, PLANETA FM's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Martins came free, but Gaspar Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertino Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gaspar Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CCD Reguengo's Albertino Guarda got a free kick in the 66th minute. Cristiano Neves made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Norbert Olchawa sent off a good shot on target. Gaspar Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. CCD Reguengo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bento Paredes 73 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. CCD Reguengo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Norbert Olchawa scored to the left of an out of position Cristiano Neves, making the score, 0-6. Vasco Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vasco Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, PLANETA FM's Vasco Vale got a free kick in the 80th minute. Rui Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Santarém having to interfere. In the 84th minute, PLANETA FM's José Carvalho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristiano Neves. Cristiano Neves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as PLANETA FM's Norbert Olchawa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristiano Neves. That made the score 0-8 after 91 minutes of play. PLANETA FM played a much better game than CCD Reguengo and deserved their victory. The CCD Reguengo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
