Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute, Jarbas Frois ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Guarda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Amável Caldas made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Afonso Pereira sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Trigaches defense, Rui Poças kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Guarda. The Trigaches fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Guarda should have stopped the shot. After 22 played minutes Trigaches got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Araújo. Trigaches's Ricardo Guarda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Poças in the 33rd minute of play. Marco Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Palmiro Gaspar charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Palmiro Gaspar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Trigaches booed when Stronkmynine CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palmiro Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Trigaches players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stronkmynine CC were winning 0-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Poças made a kick off. Filipe Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 minutes of play, Trigaches's Marco Teixeira made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amável Caldas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 1-4 became the score in the 60th minute when Rui Poças elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Trigaches got a freekick which was hit by Rui Campos. Joaquim Vasques took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricardo Guarda. Trigaches's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 73rd minute Jarbas Frois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Guarda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Stronkmynine CC's Jarbas Frois in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trigaches's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Trigaches's Ricardo Guarda got control of the ball when Rui Poças tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Jarbas Frois recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Guarda. Jarbas Frois showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarbas Frois in the 84th minute of play forced Trigaches's goalkeeper Ricardo Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes of play, Trigaches's Filipe Borba made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amável Caldas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ricardo Guarda didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 2-7. Stronkmynine CC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
