Spectators: 5776 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fernando Pires kicked off to start the match. Adolfo Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Cunha in the 3rd minute of the match. Adolfo Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Tavares in the 6th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Lourenço Tavares made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo Faria. SC Penalva do Castelo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Adolfo Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Cunha in the 16th minute of the match. Adolfo Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Cunha in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Fernando Pires had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Neves. SC Pica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Pires was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Adolfo Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SC Pica's Gustavo Tavares got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pica's zone, Eskil Janvit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Neves came out of the goal and Eskil Janvit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Francisco Pinho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Pica's Carlos Neves didn't even have to move. If Fernando Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Neves having to interfere. SC Pica's Lourenço Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Tavares to make the kick off. SC Penalva do Castelo's Adolfo Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Tavares in the 58th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Fernando Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Pires in the 67th minute of play. Francisco Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Matos scored 2-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Pica's Carlos Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Pires in the 82nd minute of play. In the 89th minute, Fernando Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Penalva do Castelo's Adolfo Faria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Penalva do Castelo from getting a goal against them. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. SC Penalva do Castelo were victorious despite being under pressure from SC Pica for much of the match.
