After a rather tough play, SC Suidros's Amílcar Vieira got a free kick in the 7th minute. When Amílcar Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the SC Suidros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílcar Vieira couldn't finish the play. Evandro Pessoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonso Barros having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Gunchester's Rui Távora got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Amílcar Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the SC Suidros fans jumped to their feet. Evandro Pessoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Afonso Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rui Caldeira during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gunchester getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rui Caldeira hit a great ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Amílcar Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gunchester's Artur Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rui Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílcar Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Amílcar Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Suidros's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílcar Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Evandro Pessoa struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Afonso Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gunchester. Evandro Pessoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Afonso Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílcar Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Montenegro having to interfere. Caio Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The long shot by Ricardo Freitas in the 61st minute really tested Artur Montenegro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Castro got free with Artur Montenegro in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Afonso Barros came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Gunchester's Xavier Macedo. But to his dismay, Xavier Macedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. SC Suidros's Rui Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xavier Macedo's late challenge caught a SC Suidros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavier Macedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Gunchester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Artur Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Castro in the 74th minute. Evandro Pessoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Barros having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, SC Suidros's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Caldeira came free, but Afonso Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes of play Gunchester's Xavier Macedo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 92nd minute Amílcar Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, SC Suidros's Adolfo Maia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.
