A collision led to Tebosa FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. André Moutinho hit a great ball. In the 32nd match minute, Tebosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Moutinho to maneuver through the defense. Hélio Carneiro, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Evandro Pessoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gil Lustosa. Tebosa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evandro Pessoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 43 minutes, Rui Caldeira made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Tebosa FC's Gil Lustosa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 64th minute, Tomé Soares made a precise shot to the right of Artur Montenegro. Gunchester's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evandro Pessoa got free with Gil Lustosa in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomé Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Montenegro having to interfere. If Evandro Pessoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil Lustosa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rui Caldeira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 81 minute of play. Isidro Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Montenegro having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Tomé Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gunchester's Artur Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gunchester's Artur Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Soares in the 96th minute of play. Sílvio Cabral hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the match was over Gunchester could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tebosa FC throughout the match.
