After 2 played minutes SC Gulpilhares got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Leiria. David Correia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. SC own3d's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Gaspar Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC own3d's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Correia in the 8th minute of play forced SC Gulpilhares's goalkeeper Joel Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Ferro's late challenge caught a SC own3d's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Ferro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Gaspar Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, SC own3d's David Correia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Vieira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Joel Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Correia in the 19th minute of the match. SC own3d were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after SC Gulpilhares's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vance Mills took the corner. Afonso Queirós was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When Ricardo Neto came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the SC own3d fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Neto couldn't finish the play. In the 25th match minute, SC Gulpilhares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Lima to maneuver through the defense. Vance Mills's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Gulpilhares's Bruno Leiria got a free kick in the 27th minute. Joel Vieira made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when David Correia sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th match minute, SC Gulpilhares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Ferro to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Nunes got free with Joel Vieira in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of SC own3d booed when SC Gulpilhares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Leiria didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, SC Gulpilhares's Joel Vieira got control of the ball when David Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Vieira having to interfere. The supporters of SC own3d booed when SC Gulpilhares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Óscar Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaspar Nunes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Óscar Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Pedro Mendes hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. SC own3d's Abel Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Neto in the 57th minute of play forced SC Gulpilhares's goalkeeper Joel Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th match minute, SC Gulpilhares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. Cláudio Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Vieira having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, SC Gulpilhares's goal looked a bit too open when David Correia came free, but Joel Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Vieira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 81 minutes of play, SC own3d's David Correia made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joel Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Afonso Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Vieira having to interfere. Pedro Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Joel Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Nunes in the 93rd minute of the match. There was no doubt that SC own3d were the better team. SC own3d's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
