Rogério Cardoso's late challenge caught a Aboboreira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogério Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bacanos F.C's Rogério Cardoso got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Meireles in the 24th minute of play forced Bacanos F.C's goalkeeper Angel Bozhkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Xavier Assis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renato Guerreiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.
