Laureano Azenha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Vieira went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Marco Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Lisboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Vilanova in the 24th minute of the match. Valdemar Bragança hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Cândido Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Laureano Azenha made a huge save. Facal FC's Laureano Azenha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Baptista in the 32nd minute of play. Carlos Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Azenha having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Estalagem FC's Augusto Vieira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laureano Azenha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Vieira got free with Laureano Azenha in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laureano Azenha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Lima in the 44th minute of play forced Facal FC's goalkeeper Laureano Azenha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cândido Cardoso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Laureano Azenha. 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Vieira in the 64th minute of play forced Facal FC's goalkeeper Laureano Azenha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Augusto Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
