An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílcar Lopes in the 41st minute of play forced Player FC's goalkeeper Daniel Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Miguel Damásio made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Damásio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Jairo Branco suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 55 minutes into the game, Joaquim Maia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vítor Carvalho replaced Rui Miranda. A collision led to GD Barbudo getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Vítor Carvalho hit a great ball. Rodolfo Sousa struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Paulo Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Player FC. In the 70th minute of the match Mateus Vides sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Almeida skillfully saved the ball. Paulo Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. GD Barbudo made a substitution. Américo Fernandes replaced Jairo Ubelteso. Amílcar Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Player FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
