With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Ribeiro in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quintino Ferro saved Brandara FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Éder Carreira got free with Jorge Marques in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Hugo Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Ribeiro in the 41st minute of play forced Brandara FC's goalkeeper Quintino Ferro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Éder Carreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jorge Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Bernardo Candal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Éder Carreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brandara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Éder Carreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dimas Fidalgo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. The Sines fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Marques should have stopped the shot. Quintino Ferro was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Hugo Fonseca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hugo Fonseca really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The Sines players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
