If Miguel Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Rocha in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Menezes got free with Filipe Lima in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrigo Menezes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Filipe Lima made a huge save. Filipe Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Rocha's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Alex Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Rocha in the 44th minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Algeraz! With his leg Filipe Lima managed to avoid a goal in the 50thth minute, when SC Repolao's Rodrigo Menezes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Assis was the one to do the kick off. Miguel Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th minute, Miguel Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evandro Ferraz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Filipe Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Semedo in the 60th minute of play. Francisco Assis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evandro Ferraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Algeraz's zone, Rodrigo Menezes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Lima came out of the goal and Rodrigo Menezes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Menezes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Lima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to SC Algeraz getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gabriel Castro hit a great ball. Rodrigo Menezes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Lima having to interfere. After 80 minutes, Baltasar Varela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Repolao and the SC Algeraz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baltasar Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Francisco Assis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evandro Ferraz. The goal made the score 0-2. Jacinto Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Rodrigo Menezes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Lima having to interfere.
