João Bandeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Miranda made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Fabiano Rios sent off a good shot on target. SC Encoberta's Honorato Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Matias in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Diogo Matias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Passos was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Diogo Matias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorato Passos having to make a save. After 34 played minutes, Serta FC's Sebastião Moreira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Honorato Passos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Serta FC reached it. Diogo Luz scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorato Passos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to SC Encoberta getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Teodoro Mourão hit a great ball. Filipe Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Honorato Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when João Bandeira made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Diogo Matias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filipe Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, Diogo Matias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viriato Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Jorge Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Bandeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Matias in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Passos saved SC Encoberta from getting behind. Diogo Matias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorato Passos having to make a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Serta FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
