Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Paraiso FC's Olaf Aron started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 17th minute, Joaquim Correia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armindo Pinheiro. The goal made the score 1-1. 25 minutes into the game, Vaqueira FC's Ricardo Macedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When Paraiso FC's Cristiano Cunha in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vaqueira FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute, Cristiano Cunha fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Olaf Aron kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armindo Pinheiro. That made the score 3-2 in the 37 minute of play. Charles Stabbe shot from long distance in the 42nd minute, but Armindo Pinheiro was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. If Olaf Aron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Baptista in the 56th minute of play forced Paraiso FC's goalkeeper Carlos Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armindo Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Cunha went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute Olaf Aron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paraiso FC's Carlos Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Paraiso FC from getting a goal against them. Armindo Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Paraiso FC's Cristiano Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armindo Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Neto made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eusébio Henriques however managed to control. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Eusébio Henriques took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Carlos Machado to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Vaqueira FC defense, Carlos Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Pinheiro. The Vaqueira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute of the match Viktor Danielsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armindo Pinheiro skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusébio Henriques got free with Carlos Machado in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
