Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tarcísio Coelho made the kick off which started today's match. Rui Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Nuno Fontes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SC Gondoriz's Norberto Bulhosa. Norberto Bulhosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rui Branco struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Norberto Bulhosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Afeiteira. Norberto Bulhosa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rui Branco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. The supporters of SC Gondoriz booed when SC Afeiteira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Alcides Meireles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristiano Faria was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Costin Hanganu scored 3-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norberto Bulhosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Rui Branco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. SC Afeiteira's Alexandre Fonseca was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. SC Gondoriz's Norberto Bulhosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Fonseca in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Joaquim Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Bulhosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, SC Gondoriz's goalkeeper Norberto Bulhosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rui Branco. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Fonseca in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Bulhosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 42 played minutes SC Gondoriz got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Zambujal. After 43 minutes, Tarcísio Coelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Gondoriz and the SC Afeiteira players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tarcísio Coelho hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Rui Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Alexandre Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norberto Bulhosa. SC Gondoriz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Alexandre Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Norberto Bulhosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Bulhosa was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Norberto Bulhosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Branco in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gondoriz's zone, Rui Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Bulhosa came out of the goal and Rui Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Adelino Veiga, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 74 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Norberto Bulhosa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Bulhosa was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Alexandre Fonseca scored 6-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norberto Bulhosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Rui Branco made a precise shot to the right of Norberto Bulhosa. SC Gondoriz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. When the referee ended the match the SC Afeiteira players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
