The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeferino Bettencourt was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Zeferino Bettencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabino Portugal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Eliseu Sardinha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Figueiredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Sabino Portugal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Távora in the 61st minute. A collision led to Tabuacas getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Leonel Regalado hit a great ball. Zeferino Bettencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. With an all-out effort, CHLC's Sabino Portugal threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zeferino Bettencourt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sabino Portugal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeferino Bettencourt's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. With a little luck, Tabuacas's Sabino Portugal got control of the ball when Enzo Távora tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Enzo Távora came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the CHLC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Távora couldn't finish the play. Tabuacas's Sabino Portugal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeferino Bettencourt in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
