Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) Zeferino Bettencourt made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Zeferino Bettencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CHLC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeferino Bettencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egídio Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Távora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Ervedosa's goalkeeper Egídio Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, SC Ervedosa's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Távora came free, but Egídio Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Enzo Távora managed to get in a good position for a shot. CHLC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Távora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egídio Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the SC Ervedosa defense, Zeferino Bettencourt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egídio Mota. The SC Ervedosa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egídio Mota should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute Zeferino Bettencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Enzo Távora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egídio Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeferino Bettencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in SC Ervedosa's zone, Zeferino Bettencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egídio Mota came out of the goal and Zeferino Bettencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Zeferino Bettencourt came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the CHLC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeferino Bettencourt couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeferino Bettencourt in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egídio Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute, Enzo Távora made a precise shot to the right of Egídio Mota. SC Ervedosa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After having played for 39 minutes, Zeferino Bettencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CHLC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeferino Bettencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Zeferino Bettencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Leonel Valentim made the kick off in the second half. Enzo Távora might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egídio Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enzo Távora ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonel Valentim charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Valentim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes SC Ervedosa got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Valentim. 57 minutes into the match, Zeferino Bettencourt notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of SC Ervedosa's Egídio Mota. Egídio Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CHLC's Enzo Távora got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Zeferino Bettencourt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Egídio Mota. Zeferino Bettencourt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Egídio Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeferino Bettencourt in the 65th minute of play. Enzo Távora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, SC Ervedosa's goal looked a bit too open when Zeferino Bettencourt came free, but Egídio Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zeferino Bettencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Távora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Mota having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Zeferino Bettencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Zeferino Bettencourt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Egídio Mota. That made the score 0-5 in the 90 minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, CHLC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palmiro Raminhos to maneuver through the defense. CHLC played a much better game than SC Ervedosa and deserved their victory. The SC Ervedosa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
