With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gusmão Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jorge Linhares fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NuttinButAStarTeam's protests and gave Jorge Linhares a yellow card for diving instead. Arcozello FC's Eusébio Assis got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gusmão Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Assis in the 24th minute of play. Eusébio Assis got in the 28th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gusmão Dias handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Rogério Caeiro struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Mário Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NuttinButAStarTeam. When Emílio Ferro fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 40th match minute, Arcozello FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Ferro to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to NuttinButAStarTeam getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Jorge Linhares hit a great ball. NuttinButAStarTeam's Gusmão Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Assis in the 44th minute of play. Eusébio Assis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gusmão Dias came out and tried to block the shot, but Eusébio Assis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 49th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eusébio Assis made the kick off in the second half. When Eusébio Assis came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Arcozello FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Assis couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute Rogério Caeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rogério Caeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adalberto Castro got free with Mário Sousa in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mário Sousa made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Adalberto Castro sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 76 minutes, Rui Henriques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arcozello FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Henriques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusébio Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gusmão Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to NuttinButAStarTeam getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Edgar Frois hit a great ball. After 85 played minutes, Arcozello FC's Ricardo Brás shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gusmão Dias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arcozello FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Assis in the 87th minute of play forced NuttinButAStarTeam's goalkeeper Gusmão Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, NuttinButAStarTeam's Pascoal Vaz got a free kick in the 88th minute. When Arcozello FC's Rui Henriques in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NuttinButAStarTeam's goalie prevented a goal. NuttinButAStarTeam's Gusmão Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Assis in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Arcozello FC had played much better football throughout.
