After 20 played minutes Rogério Caeiro rounded Cortes's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Alfredo Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Figueiredo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adalberto Castro got free with Sebastião Figueiredo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mário Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gusmão Dias having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Caeiro was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Caeiro in the 51st minute of play forced Cortes's goalkeeper Sebastião Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mário Simões hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Rogério Caeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sebastião Figueiredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogério Caeiro went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Adalberto Castro struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Sebastião Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NuttinButAStarTeam. In the 76th minute, Mário Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Cortes's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Castro came free, but Sebastião Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Rogério Caeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastião Figueiredo. Cortes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogério Caeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. NuttinButAStarTeam's Gusmão Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save NuttinButAStarTeam from getting a goal against them. Mário Simões's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gusmão Dias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Mário Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
