The shot was stopped by Adolfo Carvalho but with some difficulty. Rafael Santarém was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of slcotovios:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Themyscira F. C.:s goal. In the 28th minute Hamilton Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, slcotovios's goalkeeper Adolfo Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Souto. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Souto got free with Adolfo Carvalho in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
