Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Hermes Pimentel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jorge Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azere's Mateus Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Borba in the 9th minute of play. Gil Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mateus Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Azere's Hildeberto Amaro got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jorge Borba charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Borba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jorge Borba kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Hildeberto Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Hugo Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Alves in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Henrique Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bebedouro's Hugo Campos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Hermes Pimentel made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Campos. Bebedouro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 25th minute, Hildeberto Amaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Campos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Azere's Mateus Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Azere from getting a goal against them. Tomás Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Azere getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Henrique Alves hit a great ball. Jorge Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mateus Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Azere's zone, Gil Monteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Simões came out of the goal and Gil Monteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateus Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Borba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bebedouro's Henrique Domingues was substituted for Luís Aleixo. Mateus Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Borba in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Azere getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Catarino Valverde hit a great ball. Hugo Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Valverde, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Jorge Borba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bebedouro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Aloísio Baía was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Cristóvão Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bebedouro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristóvão Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hildeberto Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Jorge Borba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Bebedouro's Jorge Borba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateus Simões made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Bebedouro's Gil Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Borba in the 89th minute of play forced Azere's goalkeeper Mateus Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateus Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Azere's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Domingues came free, but Mateus Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Bebedouro were the better team. Bebedouro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
