Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Carrasqueira took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Camarao's Marcos Belém got a free kick in the 2nd minute. If Tarcísio Portela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ivo Souto came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the SC Camarao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Souto couldn't finish the play. FC Patifes's António Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Souto in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Lúcio Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Bandeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarcísio Portela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Roberto Bandeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Brás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Carrasqueira in the 17th minute of play. Marcos Belém hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Lúcio Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Camarao's Gentil Parente got a free kick in the 24th minute. Reinaldo Ventura kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. SC Camarao's Roberto Bandeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Camarao from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Patifes's Lúcio Antunes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roberto Bandeira. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. António Brás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Carrasqueira in the 39th minute of play. Ivo Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. António Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivo Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lúcio Antunes was the one to do the kick off. António Brás came out of the goal in the 50th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Camarao's Ivo Souto. But to his dismay, Ivo Souto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Pedro Carrasqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, FC Patifes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ivo Souto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to FC Patifes getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Diego Bentes hit a great ball. If Ivo Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When SC Camarao's Pedro Carrasqueira in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Patifes's goalie prevented a goal. If Lúcio Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Patifes's Ramiro Torres got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 78 played minutes Pedro Carrasqueira could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-2 into the left cross. After 87 minutes, Nicolas França mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Patifes and the SC Camarao players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Patifes getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Nicolas França hit a great ball. Ivo Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. António Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Carrasqueira in the 94th minute of play forced FC Patifes's goalkeeper António Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. António Brás made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ivo Souto sent off a good shot on target. The FC Patifes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Camarao's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Camarao.
