Xavier Ferro started the match with the kick off. Julião Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Xavier Ferro lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Gabriel Padilha. Xavier Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gabriel Padilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Julião Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lúcio Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julião Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, A.C. Bougadense's Oskar Pique got a free kick in the 19th minute. Oskar Pique kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Xavier Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xavier Ferro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Padilha having to make a save. After some careless play in the A.C. Bougadense defense, Lisandro Peixoto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lúcio Nogueira. The A.C. Bougadense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lúcio Nogueira should have stopped the shot. Fernando Carlos kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Fernando Carlos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Lisandro Peixoto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Lúcio Nogueira made a huge save. Lúcio Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lúcio Nogueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Avelino Perdigão in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Ferro in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Padilha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octávio Loureiro in the 66th minute of play forced A.C. Bougadense's goalkeeper Lúcio Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Oskar Pique hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Aldaír Salazar in the 70th minute really tested Lúcio Nogueira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Amado Fonseca made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cássio Portugal however managed to control. Octávio Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Xavier Ferro struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Gabriel Padilha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C. Bougadense. When Oskar Pique came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the A.C. Bougadense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Pique couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Avelino Perdigão could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Lúcio Nogueira however easily saved by the left post. If Manuel Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Éder Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gasparinhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C. Bougadense the free kick. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gasparinhos! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. A.C. Bougadense had won after a very even match.
