But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Brás couldn't finish the play. Filipe Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filipe Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faial FC's Máximo Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Faial FC from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute Diamantino Brás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Domingues hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. SC Tardariz's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
