Francisco Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Ormal's Lucas Sá seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lucas Sá the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ormal protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lucas Sá had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 9th minute, one of Ormal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ormal. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Arranjinho. Alfredo Fontes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Francisco Abreu. 1-0. After 17 played minutes Arranjinho got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Arenas. Francisco Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd play minute António Azevedo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Francisco Abreu. 2-0. In the last second Francisco Abreu throw himself and got hold of the ball when António Azevedo in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 33rd minute António Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Arranjinho's António Azevedo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Ormal's Higinio Ruisko got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute António Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If António Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diogo Amorim made a kick off. Francisco Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Azevedo in the 52nd minute of play. Francisco Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th match minute, Arranjinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Fontes to maneuver through the defense. Ormal's Eusébio Faria managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adelino Viegas in the 57 minute of the game. Oliveira Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Fernandes in the 59th minute of the match. Diogo Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Nuno Lopes made a huge save. Ahmet Yahya Seci kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Francisco Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Azevedo in the 67th minute of the match. Ormal's Francisco Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Fernandes in the 69th minute of play. Francisco Abreu came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Arranjinho's Fábio Fernandes. But to his dismay, Fábio Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 78th match minute, Ormal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Diogo Amorim in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nuno Lopes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Fernandes in the 91st minute of play forced Ormal's goalkeeper Francisco Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Arranjinho players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
