Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Samuel Monsanto got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, SC Tardariz's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Branco came free, but Almiro Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Almiro Brás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliveira Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, one of SC Tardariz:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave SC Terruge a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Américo Santos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Tardariz's Almiro Brás. 0-1. Gastão Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Cunha having to interfere. Domingos Lopes hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes SC Terruge got a freekick which was hit by João Moniz. António Cunha made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Gastão Bessa sent off a good shot on target. António Cunha came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Tardariz's Reginaldo Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Reginaldo Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half SC Terruge were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oliveira Branco was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd minute, João Moniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Almiro Brás. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Emanuel Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almiro Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Vilaverde during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes SC Tardariz got a freekick which was hit by Luís Vilaverde. If Emanuel Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliveira Branco got free with Almiro Brás in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the game, SC Terruge's Oliveira Branco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Almiro Brás made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. António Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Pestana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Terruge's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
