In the 10thth minute of the game Catarino Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Conchoso's Elias Portugal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Conchoso! Alfredo Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Portugal having to interfere. Elias Portugal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Coimbra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Portugal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Coimbra in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Azeiteiros's Catarino Gaspar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Elias Portugal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Catarino Gaspar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Elias Portugal made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Coimbra to strike the kick off in the second half. Gentil Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Coimbra in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Portugal saved SC Conchoso from getting behind. Elias Portugal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Coimbra in the 55th minute of the match. Elias Portugal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catarino Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Catarino Gaspar in the 61st minute of play forced SC Conchoso's goalkeeper Elias Portugal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 minutes of play, Azeiteiros's Alfredo Coimbra made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Portugal was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Catarino Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Coimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Conchoso's Elias Portugal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Coimbra in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Catarino Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Azeiteiros fully deserved thier win.
