Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joaquim Assis made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Degracias's Carlos Palma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armindo Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Plácido Palma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 13 minutes into the game, Joaquim Magalhães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sobrena FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Degracias the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Sobrena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Carlos Palma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armindo Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Sobrena FC's Armindo Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Sobrena FC from getting a goal against them. Plácido Palma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Assis in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Daniel Prada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Palma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes, Sobrena FC's Paulo Vale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Plácido Palma came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sobrena FC reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Poças during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joaquim Poças hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Carlos Palma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gaspar Moura fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sobrena FC's protests and gave Gaspar Moura a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Prada struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Armindo Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Degracias. 47 minutes into the game, Degracias's Carlos Palma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armindo Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

The wind increased when Daniel Prada made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Degracias's Joaquim Poças got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Carlos Palma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Jaime Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Degracias fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The supporters of Sobrena FC booed when Degracias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laércio Pádua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armindo Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Palma's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. If Jaime Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Joaquim Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Degracias's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
