Gusmão Horta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Assis having to interfere. Celso Lage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Ramires having to interfere. When Hilário Nóbrega came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Machados FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hilário Nóbrega couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Machados FC had played much better football throughout.
