If David Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão Cabral made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Luís Guarda sent off a good shot on target. Reginaldo Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Cabral having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Reginaldo Silva took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cristóvão Cabral to make any attempt to save it. Cristóvão Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Silva in the 15th minute of play. David Palmeira charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Palmeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Codecoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Armando Campos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reginaldo Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Codecoso's David Palmeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristóvão Cabral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Alberto Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Armando Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristóvão Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Silva in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Boucinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Palmeira came free, but Cristóvão Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Cabral having to interfere. In the 74th minute, David Palmeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Codecoso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Codecoso's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Alberto Pereira scored to the left of an out of position Armando Campos, making the score, 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
