The referee ignored SC Element's protests and gave Pedro Porto a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Nascimento in the 23rd minute of play forced SC Element's goalkeeper Óscar Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bento Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miroslav Juráň showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Kilström in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the game Bruno Andrade made a throw-in which Filipe Borba played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipe Nascimento in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Óscar Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute Filipe Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurín Errázuriz kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Bento Leiria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipe Nascimento made a kick off. After 51 played minutes FC Monte Estrela got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Nascimento. 54 minutes into the match, FC Monte Estrela's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Kilström came free, but Miroslav Juráň reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute of the game, Fernando Pedroso landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 55 minutes into the game, Rui Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Element's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Monte Estrela the free kick. The audience was convinced that Alf Kilström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miroslav Juráň was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. 85 minutes into the match, FC Monte Estrela's goalkeeper Miroslav Juráň had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Amaro. Óscar Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Nascimento scored 3-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Óscar Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
