The supporters of Travanca F.C. booed when FC Pedrouços was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cândido Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Nuno Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Travanca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Teófilo Caetano came free, but Maarek Luberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Borges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cândido Fontes's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 32nd minute, Tiago Baptista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nuno Borges came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Travanca F.C.'s Tiago Baptista. But to his dismay, Tiago Baptista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 40 minutes into the game, Travanca F.C.'s Tiago Baptista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The wind increased when Tiago Baptista made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Tiago Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Travanca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Pedrouços's Nuno Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Pedrouços from getting a goal against them. After 55 played minutes Cândido Fontes rounded FC Pedrouços's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Cândido Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 played minutes FC Pedrouços got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Travassos. Teófilo Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cândido Fontes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nuno Borges. That made the score 0-6 in the 67 minute of play. Tiago Baptista's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Nuno Borges skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The tension between the FC Pedrouços and the Travanca F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eduardo Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Pedrouços's zone, Tiago Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Borges came out of the goal and Tiago Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
