The supporters of SC Breia booed when Os Carvalhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Portela took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodrigo Faro. Os Carvalhos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rodrigo Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Jesus in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lourenço Dias in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Carvalhais saved SC Breia from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Lourenço Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vicente Macedo scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of António Carvalhais, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodrigo Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregório Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 36 played minutes Os Carvalhos got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Sousa. In the 39th minute, Lourenço Dias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of António Carvalhais. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 43rd minute Lourenço Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Carvalhais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Carvalhais had great luck who in the 47thth minute grab hold of the ball when Lourenço Dias from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Os Carvalhos were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after SC Breia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vicente Macedo took the corner. After 49 minutes, Gregório Teixeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Breia and the Os Carvalhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gregório Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 56th minute of the match Augusto Portela shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Faro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregório Teixeira in the 58th minute of play forced Os Carvalhos's goalkeeper Rodrigo Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isac Espinosa kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, SC Breia's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Dias came free, but António Carvalhais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. António Carvalhais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Macedo in the 63rd minute of the match. António Carvalhais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lourenço Dias in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck António Carvalhais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Lourenço Dias made a precise shot to the right of António Carvalhais. SC Breia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 76thth minute of the game Lourenço Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Breia's António Carvalhais was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With splendid footwork Gregório Teixeira arrived in front of goal to shoot 4-1 by the left pole in the game's 78th minute. 82 minutes into the match, SC Breia's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Macedo came free, but António Carvalhais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Breia's António Carvalhais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Macedo in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Lourenço Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Os Carvalhos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 99 minutes into the match, Os Carvalhos's goal looked a bit too open when Gregório Teixeira came free, but Rodrigo Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
