Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clemente Telesforo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Nóbrega read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Augusto Freitas came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Alheira's Higino Bento. But to his dismay, Higino Bento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesualdo Severiano was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Clemente Telesforo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Higino Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Alheira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higino Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higino Bento got free with Augusto Freitas in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Alheira were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Havoc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laureano Meireles took the corner. The corner led to SC Alheira's Sálvio Amaro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Havoc's Augusto Freitas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Havoc from getting a goal against them.
