Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Puskas FC's Catarino Nóbrega started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Lustosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Cristiano Câmara could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Rafael Lustosa however easily saved by the left post. In the 22nd minute, Manuel Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Catarino Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higino Fraga having to interfere. Bordalo's Higino Fraga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Catarino Nóbrega in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Catarino Castilho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Lustosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Catarino Castilho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rafael Lustosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Puskas FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Filipe Garcez hit a great ball. Higino Fraga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catarino Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee showed Filipe Garcez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rafael Lustosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Castilho, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute.
