Spectators: 7184 (Terracing: 5390, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aparício Guimarães in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diogo Zarco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diogo Zarco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Estevão Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Hamilton Mourão was extremely unlucky when he, in the 7th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. SC Arrabaca's André Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamilton Mourão in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Herberto Candal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aparício Guimarães in the 15th minute of play forced Cannabiz FC's goalkeeper Diogo Zarco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Estevão Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aparício Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Estevão Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Diogo Zarco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Zarco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aparício Guimarães in the 29th minute of play. When Aparício Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the SC Arrabaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aparício Guimarães couldn't finish the play. Aparício Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Zarco having to interfere. Cannabiz FC's Ivan Gama got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aparício Guimarães to make the kick off. André Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamilton Mourão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 60 minutes, Julião Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cannabiz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julião Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseu Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Zarco having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Julião Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cannabiz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julião Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamilton Mourão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julião Neto in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of SC Arrabaca booed when Cannabiz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Julião Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cannabiz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julião Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
