Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when André Teixeira got the match started through his kick off. Ricardo Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Assis having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Sport Tires e Benfica's goalkeeper Ivan Malafaia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Tavares. The supporters of Sport Tires e Benfica booed when Sarnado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute André Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Malafaia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sport Tires e Benfica's goalkeeper Ivan Malafaia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sarnado FC's zone, Emanuel Lemos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Assis came out of the goal and Emanuel Lemos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, David Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Malafaia acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pedro Borges. After 45 played minutes Sarnado FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Anjos. Sarnado FC's Rodrigo Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Lemos in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Lemos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Assis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Lemos in the 55th minute of the match. Emanuel Lemos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Assis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Vidal went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Sarnado FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. António Rocha hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarnado FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Assis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emanuel Lemos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Teixeira in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Malafaia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Carlos Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Telinhos kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 90thth minute of the game André Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Tires e Benfica's Ivan Malafaia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute André Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Malafaia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Cristiano Tavares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Malafaia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
