The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Constantina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Cerqueira to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Trindade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Catarino Frois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Constantina FC's Catarino Frois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Trindade in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Álvaro Trindade made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Afonso Cerqueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filipe Lobato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Oliveira having to interfere. If Filipe Lobato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Leal's late challenge caught a Constantina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Leal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Outrelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Leal to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes Outrelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Leal. After 69 minutes Outrelo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Cesário who took care of the corner kick. Bruno Vaz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Afonso Cerqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Mendes in the 75th minute of play forced Constantina FC's goalkeeper Catarino Frois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes Constantina FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Regueira. If Emanuel Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catarino Frois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Trindade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Constantina FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Afonso Cerqueira hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
