An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Bessa in the 9th minute of play forced Retranca FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zarco Campos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonso Sá having to make a save. Afonso Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Palha in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zarco Campos in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Sá prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zarco Campos's late challenge caught a Alcafozes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zarco Campos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Zarco Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Moura in the 27th minute of the match. Afonso Sá came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Retranca FC's Zarco Campos. But to his dismay, Zarco Campos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Zarco Campos put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Afonso Sá. Alberto Henriques might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Sá. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Henriques ran back to his position shaking his head. Cláudio Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Afonso Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gusmão Seabra in the 44th minute of the match. Cláudio Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aloísio Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fábio Pereira was the one to do the kick off. Zarco Campos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Afonso Sá skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Domingos Palha struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Afonso Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Retranca FC. 56 minutes into the match, Retranca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Bessa came free, but Aloísio Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armindo Mota struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Aloísio Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcafozes. Zarco Campos had several of the Alcafozes's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Afonso Sá as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 64th minute Cláudio Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Palha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Leal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aloísio Ribeiro. Retranca FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Retranca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Pereira came free, but Aloísio Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingos Palha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Retranca FC's Zarco Campos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso Sá made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Retranca FC's Aloísio Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Mota in the 83rd minute of play. With splendid footwork Zarco Campos arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-5 by the left pole in the game's 85th minute. Alcafozes's Afonso Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Palha in the 89th minute of play. When Retranca FC's Zarco Campos in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alcafozes's goalie prevented a goal. The Alcafozes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Retranca FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
