Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zarco Campos got the match started through his kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Fernando Guerreiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Retranca FC's Aloísio Ribeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aloísio Ribeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Veiga went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 11 played minutes Felgar FC got a freekick which was hit by Simão Santos. Rui Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Palha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Zarco Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Sá made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Zarco Campos sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 18 minutes, Gusmão Seabra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Retranca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gusmão Seabra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Veiga scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aloísio Ribeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aloísio Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Abreu in the 29th minute of play. If Zarco Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felgar FC's Rui Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Palha in the 44th minute of play. Armando Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Veiga made a kick off. Amadeu Vaz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Nuno Noronha came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Retranca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Noronha couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zarco Campos in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Sá saved Felgar FC from getting behind. Felgar FC's Rui Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zarco Campos in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Felgar FC's Amadeu Vaz got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Retranca FC's Nuno Noronha broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sérgio Fernandes's late challenge caught a Felgar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sérgio Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. Aloísio Ribeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Veiga's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Felgar FC's Amadeu Vaz got a free kick in the 78th minute. Retranca FC's Nuno Noronha got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Retranca FC's Zarco Campos in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Felgar FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 84 played minutes, Retranca FC's Nuno Noronha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rui Sá came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Retranca FC reached it. Zarco Campos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gusmão Seabra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Sá having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zarco Campos in the 89th minute of play forced Felgar FC's goalkeeper Rui Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Zarco Campos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Felgar FC's Rui Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 92 minutes of play, Retranca FC's Zarco Campos made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Sá was left in no man's land by his defense there! Augusto Torres hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Retranca FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
