The Assencada players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Só Formação SAD were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when António Leiria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vítor Pinto made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Sandro Campos sent off a good shot on target. Sandro Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Bernardes in the 61st minute of play. In the 64thth minute of the game António Leiria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Assencada's Vítor Pinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute António Leiria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Vítor Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Leiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Aloísio Bernardes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 played minutes Só Formação SAD got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Araújo. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Assencada's goal looked a bit too open when António Leiria came free, but Vítor Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Silvério Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Assencada's protests and gave Silvério Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Sandro Campos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Só Formação SAD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Só Formação SAD's Sandro Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Bernardes in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Sandro Campos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vítor Pinto, passed just outside the right post. When the match was over Só Formação SAD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Assencada throughout the match.
