The supporters of InvictA ArmY FC booed when Assencada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Bernardes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gonçalo Moutinho fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Assencada's protests and gave Gonçalo Moutinho a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Assencada got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Moutinho. 30 minutes into the game, Heitor Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. InvictA ArmY FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Assencada the free kick. In the 30th match minute, InvictA ArmY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Torres to maneuver through the defense. Aloísio Bernardes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Amílcar Queirós made a huge save. Aloísio Bernardes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amílcar Queirós firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 37 played minutes InvictA ArmY FC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Vaz. Vítor Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Paiva in the 47th minute of the match. Cândido Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Caeiro made a kick off. Gonçalo Moutinho hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Gaspar got free with Vítor Pinto in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. InvictA ArmY FC's Amílcar Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Caeiro in the 91st minute of play. Aloísio Bernardes struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Amílcar Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Assencada. In the 93rd match minute, InvictA ArmY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Torres to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Paivas short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Vítor Pinto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Assencada fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. InvictA ArmY FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
